A stunning stone chapel with a soaring interior, natural light, and an in-house piano. Seats approximately 200 guests. The perfect setting for your ceremony.

Laurel House

Our reception space features handmade quilts, classic wooden tables, and character that no ballroom can replicate. Comfortably seats 120 guests, with room for up to 160.

Made-from-scratch menus, crafted for your celebration

Our in-house catering team offers a range of menus — from comforting Southern classics to elegant entrées — all served buffet style. Request our full catering menu for the complete selection of entrées, sides, appetizers, salads, soups, and desserts. Custom curated menus are also available.

Tier 1
$25/guest

Meal only. Classic favorites like roasted chicken, BBQ pork, pork loin, garlic cream chicken, and lasagna. Includes three sides and bread.

Tier 2
$35/guest

Meal, linens, and place settings. Elevated options including pot roast, stuffed pork loin, smoked pork chops, and Marry Me Chicken. Includes three sides and bread.

Tier 3
$40/guest

Specialty entrées like Jalapeño Peach Chicken, Shrimp Alfredo, Chicken Piccata, and Asparagus Stuffed Chicken. Linens and silverware +$5/plate. Includes three sides and bread.

Tier 4
$70/guest

Premium selections: Beef Tenderloin (6 oz), Seared Ribeye (8 oz), Jumbo Shrimp, and Scallops in Buttered Parsley. Linens and silverware +$5/plate. Includes three sides and bread.

Appetizers, salads, soups, and desserts available for an additional fee. Final food selections due 30 days prior; final guest count due 2 weeks prior.

Policies & Frequently Asked Questions

  • A 25% deposit is due at the time of reservation to hold your date and must be paid by credit card. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. If your booking is made within two weeks of the event, full payment is required upfront. Your final timing details are due 60 days prior to the event.

  • More than 60 days before your event: full refund minus a $100 processing fee. Between 30 and 60 days: refund minus the 25% deposit. Less than 30 days: no refund.

  • Pew clips are available for chapel decorating. No tape, staples, tacks, or nails are permitted anywhere on the property. Quilts in Laurel House may be removed but must be returned to their original position — any damage is the financial responsibility of the renter. Tables may be rearranged but must be returned to their original layout before you leave.

  • PMSS does not serve alcohol. In accordance with Kentucky state law, alcohol must be served by a licensed caterer. Please ensure your caterer holds the appropriate licensing if you plan to serve alcohol at your event.

  • All weddings and receptions currently take place indoors.

  • Yes. Lodging can be added to your wedding contract or reserved separately. It fills quickly, so we recommend booking early.

  • Yes, WiFi is available across the entire PMSS campus.

  • Approximately 200 guests.

  • For a reception Laurel House comfortably seats 120 guests. Up to 40 additional seats can be added for a fee of $200, bringing the maximum to approximately 160 guests.

  • All catering is buffet style. Guests return their own plates, glasses, and silverware to a designated area.

  • Yes, for a fee of $600. Your caterer must be licensed, carry liability insurance, and provide their food handler's license and a kitchen equipment list at least 30 days before the event. Unlicensed caterers will not have kitchen access. All caterers must sign a catering contract with PMSS.

  • Additional time cannot be added informally. If you need more hours, consider upgrading to a higher-tier package, or add time at $300/hour for the Chapel or Laurel House.

  • Alcohol may only be served by a licensed caterer, per Kentucky state law. PMSS does not serve alcohol.

  • Yes. The Chapel package includes two dressing rooms in Westwind Dormitory. All other packages include two dressing rooms in Laurel House.
